Characters

The character designs for the main cast are pretty much the same as the final game.

Crash

Crash's model is virtually identical to the final game, the differences come from his joint and facial animations. Crash spawns with Foofie attached to his right arm. More on Foofie in his section.

Cortex

Cortex's model doesn't have any blend shapes (facial expressions), but is otherwise the same as final.

MultiTool

Cortex's raygun had a very primitive model at this point.

TestBullet

The projectile system was already implemented and the TestBullet is the only Projectile-type object.

Coco

Coco doesn't have an object at this point and her model is mostly untextured. The model is fully rigged already, but there are no animations. The only references to her in the data are in a few Core objects (more on that in the Twins World section) and a dev comment regarding her being able to use a MultiTool:
